Are you an Extrovert or Introvert? – It may influence how you eat.

Are you an Extrovert – someone who seems to be energized by others? Or are you an Introvert – who finds the energy from within? It’s been studied and proven that people tend to eat more, the more people that are in the group. Extroverts will find every reason to go out and socialize, finding that the more people there are with them, the more energy they receive. I don’t know of any studies that have been done to prove whether Extroverts tend to be heavier than Introverts. But it stands to reason that they could be because, let’s face it, socializing almost always seems to have food involved.

      1. I love talking about personality typing because it’s such an integral part of who we are. Have you been tested for the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) and know your personality type? If not, visit my website at and in the middle column there is a link called “About personality typing” where you can view a slideshow about type and get a bit of an idea of what characteristics you might have. However, the best way if you haven’t been tested is to get my book, “Is Your Personality Type Making You Fat?” which includes a personality quiz. Once you know your type, you’ll be amazed by then understanding why you do the things you do. You’ll also better understand other people’s actions.
