Can the process of plumping chickens by adding broth to the muscle be considered “natural” when no artificial ingredients are used?
Too bad we have to have legal definitions for something like “natural” when it seems so clear what the term “natural” is supposed to mean. It’s the way Mother Nature creates something, whether it’s coming out of the ground or being raised on two or four legs. Nowhere in nature can you find an example of “plumping”. Yet, manufacturers can do just that, which, by the way, adds weight to the chicken and costs you money.
